registering for affiliation program not working
I tried to register for your affiliation program. But I get a runtime error when I submit the application, so I went back to try a second time to register then I got the error message that the Username is already taken.
then I tried to log in with this username, which is the same I use on the forum When i tried and login with this username on the affiliation page I get the message that the account has not been validated >Your Affiliate Account was not activated yet! Please open the activation email that was sent to you and activate your acount.< but I am not getting an email message with that information in it. Can you please help me with that. I would like to share this great program on my blog. Thanks |

having the exact same problem
Hello, I'm having the exact same problem as the person who started this thread. Told me username was taken/affliate account not activated/but no email received to let me activate it. What's the solution?
Can the activation email be re-sent? I too want this banner for my blog. I know that there are friends wanting to buy the software through me. lol |

I have exactly the same problem and when I try to use the contact us form does the same error.
can I receive the activation email again? I have people interested and I would like to use this function |

Now I understand, people can be busy, but I asked for help with this affiliate program in June, it is September now, and I have not gotten an answer or any help with this problem.
I can see that I am not the only one with the same problem, not being able to sign up for the program. Funny though, that although it won't sign you up, after you go through the process you still get the banner for, your website, only it won't pay you any money because you are not in the program. Looks to me, someone is trying to get a free ride. I love the software, but I don't like the support I am getting and I especially don't like when people offer you something and then if it does not work are not helping to make it work. I would love to say "I love this program, check it out!" but I honestly can say I can't, not under those conditions. for me I have been very nice and have promoted Living Cookbooks in my emails to people, on my website and I always recommend it to everyone I know who likes to cook. Until this issue is resolved, I will take all references to Living cookbooks I have on my website off my site. I will also not recommend you to my friends, people I know, I will not send anymore recipe-emails through the program, which has a reference to Living cookbooks to people. I will not advertise a program with such bad customer service. Especially if it looks like there is a pattern of ignoring people. waiting this long is way to long to wait for customer service Isabell Norman |

I'm sorry for the delay in handling this for you. You're right, there's no excuse for it, so I won't attempt one. All I can say is that I apologize and I'm trying to fix the problem now.
I have manually set the three of your accounts to "Active", so you should be all set for the affiliate program if you are still interested. Since you each seemed to have created several accounts in an attempt to successfully register, I have deleted the duplicates and activated the initial account set up for each of you. The login names are the same as your forum logins, and the passwords are whatever you set them at when you first signed up. Please let me know if you need your password information. I am trying to identify the original problem which seems to be preventing the confirmation emails from going out. In the meantime, anyone who wants to sign up for the affiliate program and does not receive the confirmation email should contact us and ask us to manually set their status to "Active". I am also having difficulty registering. I am having the exact same issues as the OP. I would appreciate it if the managers would approve and activate my account. Thank you!
